1- Verify your size before weting the cast gird.
2- In a big container of aproximately 16 inches pour enough of water to moist the cast girdle.
3- Remove the cord from the cast girdle.
4- Place the cast girdle in the container for a couple of minutes until it gets humid. Do not over do it because you will damage it.
5- Remove the cast girdle from the container and remove the excess water but do not twist or squeeze.  Extend a dry towel in a flat surface, place the cast girdle in top of it, and extend another dry towel in top of the cast girdle. Put enough pressure to release all the water.
6- Place the cast girdle around your waist, hold it with both hands under your chest while your partner laces the cast girdle in a zig zag until reaching your hips.
7- To fully adjust the cast girdle rise your arms to your chest and adjust it to the same level in the front and back; tight the lace but dont over do it so you wont feel discomfort or pain.   Remember the objective is to inmobilize the abdomen not to tighten.
8- Once the cast girdle is in place use a hair dryer to dry it.  Make sure you dont wrinkle it or damage it.
8- Wait until the cast girdle is completely dry, until then you will not be able to sit. This is the most important part otherwise the cast girdle will not mold appropriately.
9- To obtain excellent results you should wear the cast girdle during the day and the night, and you could remove it to bathe and carefully put it back again.
